Schnitzer
A really sporting
example recently celebrated its premiere: the standard model of the
MINI Cooper Coupé. But the MINI tuning experts at AC Schnitzer are
working "Beyond the standard", as demonstrated by some impressive
tuning highlights for the agile two-seater.
Performance upgrades for
the MINI Cooper SD Coupé and S Coupé are currently in development
and planning respectively. Balanced handling on the exit from tight
corners is already guaranteed by the AC Schnitzer limited slip
differential for the MINI Cooper S Coupé with locking up to 75%.
The perfect driving
experience is enhanced by the acoustic qualities of the AC Schnitzer
sports rear silencer of stainless steel with chromed Racing tailpipe
trim for the MINI Cooper S and the John Cooper Works Coupé. The AC
Schnitzer sports exhaust system optimally balances the complete
exhaust system to the demands of higher power and tuned engines.
The promises made by a
sporting engine are backed up by the AC Schnitzer high performance
brake system. The 4-piston fixed caliper brakes (left/right) with
slotted discs (left/right), the set of brake pads, caliper holder
and steel flexible brake lines, hold the thoroughbred two-seater in
check.
Like every athlete, the MINI Cooper Coupé needs high performance
"movement gear“. In the case of the MINI Cooper Coupé by AC
Schnitzer, this includes a height-adjustable racing suspension or
the AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit, an aluminium strut brace and
special antiroll bar for the rear axle which further reinforce the
Go-kart-like driving sensation so characteristic of the MINI.
Its extravagant body
style identifies the MINI Cooper Coupé as an absolute athlete. But
to demonstrate that AC Schnitzer know-how has also been applied to

In the interior too, the MINI Cooper Coupé by AC Schnitzer is a
whole length ahead of the standard model. The standard premium
comfort can be enhanced by the AC Schnitzer gear knob with digital
gear display, aluminium pedal set, foot rests, "Black Line"
handbrake handle and velours foot mats.
A sporting stance on the road is provided by the AC Schnitzer Mi2
BiColor wheels in 18 inch or the Mi 1 silver wheels in 17 inch with
corresponding tyres.
