Release) This year MINI will be supporting the Life Ball
for the fifth time in a row. Together with internationally prominent
guests MINI will be making a positive mark in the fight against aids
on 21. May 2005 in the Vienna Town Hall. Europe's biggest Charity
Event represents a very good platform for MINI to underline its
social commitments.
At the event the world-famous fashion icon, Donatella Versace, will
be presenting a MINI Cooper Cabrio which was designed exclusively
for the Life Ball. This valuable unique specimen is being presented
for the first time at the traditional Life Ball fashion show. The
guests will experience how good a MINI not only feels on the road,
but also on the catwalk surrounded by international models. The
unique MINI with the fiery flower pattern will be auctioned after
the event from 20. to 30. June 2005 on the Internet worldwide at
www.ebay.at, www.ebay.de and www.ebay.it. The proceeds will go to
the Life Ball.
MINI is available in a total of 7 model variants, from the MINI One
D with 55 kW/75 bhp to the MINI Cooper S with 125 kW/170 bhp. In
between there is the MINI One with 66 kW/90 bhp petrol engine and
the MINI Cooper with 85 kW/115 bhp. The icing on the cake is the
MINI Cabrio which has been available since Summer 2004 with electric
soft top and a fresh design.
