Exterior

Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR)  Anti-Slip Regulation helps prevent wheel slippage at all speeds. Denies engine power in situations when wheel slip is detected. So, balance and equal traction are never compromised.

Bi-Xenon™ headlights with AFS  The Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) comes standard with your Eos' Bi-Xenon™ headlamps and actually turns the headlamp up to 15 degrees in the direction you're headed while cruising at freeway speeds. At slow speeds, AFS turns an additional bulb in the direction you're turning with the flick of the blinker.

Heated Washer Nozzles  What good are washer nozzles if they are frozen closedogon; Your heated washer nozzles on your VW model help keep ice from forming over them.

Laser Seam Welding  The welding technique that is used on the Tiguan. It's seamless and helps create a more rigid body with less flex.

Power folding hardtop with sunroof   The Eos features a hardtop convertible with a sunroof. And it goes down and hides in the trunk in just 25 seconds.

Exterior Signal Mirrors  The side view mirrors have the blinkers built right into them. This helps vehicles to the left or right of you know when you're turning or changing lanes much more easily. And as an added bonus, it's easier to spot when you've left your blinker on.

LED Technology  The rear markers, brake lights and turn signal lights are all illuminated using Light Emitting Diodes. LEDs illuminate instantly, and they use less energy and last significantly longer than standard light bulbs. Good for safety and the environment.

DSG® Transmission  It's a completely automatic transmission when you want it to be. But, it's also an F1 race-inspired transmission that shifts in just two-tenths of a second when it's time to have some fun.

Electronic Stabilization Control (ESP®)  In conjunction with the ABS, ASR and EDL systems, plus additional sensors, the Electronic Stabilization Program helps the driver maintain their intended course during evasive maneuvering, like avoiding a crash, by applying brake pressure to specific wheels.

Vented Four-Wheel Disc Brakes  Yet another upgraded safety feature VW chooses to offer standard that others don't even offer. When you push the brake pedal, pads squeeze both sides of the disc, creating heat. Our vented brake rotors are designed for autobahn speeds and can more effectively dissipate heat. When mated to the most effective ABS platform available to date, braking confidence is a standard feature.

MDI with iPod® Cable  MDI with iPod® cable lets you plug your iPod® into the touchscreen Premium VIII radio and seamlessly navigate playlists, albums, song titles and more. In other words, this may be the coolest iPod® accessory you ever buy.

Safety

Automatic Rollover Protection  Underneath the headrests in the back seat are two hidden steel beams. They're pneumatically deployed as soon as a rollover is detected. Just like airbags*, they deploy lightning fast and are designed to help minimize the risk of injury in the event of a rollover.

Pinch Protection  Every VW is equipped with power windows. It's not because we think you're lazy, it's because we think you deserve it. And they all have pinch protection, which helps reduce the risk of injury to a set of unsuspecting fingers when the windows are closing.
