(from Mercedes-Benz
Press Release) Mercedes SL63 AMG "Seven-11" by Wheelsandmore
Analogous to the previously introduced Mercedes CLS 63AMG "Seven-11"
Wheelsandmore now presents their new Mercedes SL63AMG conversion
with lots of spicy additions. The German tuning specialists finished
the new roadster in the same look as the version of the already
released Mercedes CLS luxury coupe and wrapped the body in
"Armageddon-Matte-Gray" combined with "Light-Matte-Black" and topped
this act with the traditional Wheelsandmore racestripe. This color
combination and the other tuning components provides an exciting mix
of understatement and provoking look to the sportscar.
Invisible but rigorous turned the revision of the engine
performance. For those who are not completely satisifed with the
factory delivered 395kw / 537 hp and hasnīt even ordered the larger
SL65 AMG, Wheelsandmore helps out with the "Seven-11" upgrade for
the new SL 231. The performance increased up to brutal 514kw / 700
hp and 1100nm of torque due sport catalysts, a flap-controlled
exhaust system, optimized air induction and a remapped software.
The most obvious distinguishing feature for a Wheelsandmore tuning
conversion is always the use of 6Sporz ē forged wheels, which are
also fitting perfectly to the new SL. At the front the noble tuner
applied the 3-piece wheels in 10x20 "with 255/30/20 tires and in
12.0x20" with 305/25/20 tires from Continental on the drive axle.
Alternatively the tuning company also offers the wheel / tire
combination in a 20/21 inch staggered combination. Then the front
wheels will measure 10x20" with 255/30/20 and the rears will size
11,5 x21" with 295/25/21 tires
For the lowering of the ABC suspension is a newly developed
electronic lowering module responsible, called LowMaXX, which
automatically switches off at 70 km/h tp provide comfort and safety
reserves.
