igra 1.8i Sport by Giles Deacon
(from Vauxhall
Press Release)  A unique car given a
makeover by one of the fashion world’s rising stars is set to help
drive record donations to charity during next month’s Breast Cancer
			Awareness Month.

Breast Cancer Care’s star-studded Fashion Show takes place on 6
October. Hosts Jerry Hall and Carol Vorderman will preside over a
day of catwalk activity, culminating in a celebrity auction with
lots that money cannot usually buy.

And taking centre stage will be a stunning Tigra 1.8i Sport – the
new award winning coupe roadster from Vauxhall – complete with 17
inch alloy wheels and leather seats, which has been customised by
			designer Giles Deacon.

Giles, who made his solo debut this year after playing an
influential role in labels like Gucci group and Bottega Venetta, has
created a car to tie in with his spring summer 2005 collection.

The signature styling of Deacon has been interpreted onto the
outside of the Tigra to make doubly sure it is a car to turn heads.
And showing off has never been easier for those behind the wheel of
this baby thanks to an ingenious retractable hard top that opens and
closes in just 18 seconds at the touch of a button. Great for an
impromptu spot of fresh air and even better if the weather threatens
to put a damper on things.

Giles is also donating the stunning outfit from his new collection
which inspired the design for the car to complete the "fashion in
			the fast lane" experience.

Last year Breast Cancer Care’s Fashion Show raised more than
pound;250,000 and the charity is hoping to better that in 2004. All money
raised from the events will go towards ensuring that Breast Cancer
Care continues to provide free and confidential support and
information to those affected by breast cancer across the UK.

Bids for the car are being taken via the Breast Cancer Care website
			www.breastcancercare.org.uk from 20 September 2004. Highest bidders
on line will be invited to attend the Fashion Show at London’s
Grosvenor Hotel and bid live alongside attendees, including big name
			celebrities.

The car joins other priceless lots, including the chance to win a
flight to the edges of outer space and a date with Jerry Hall.
